Tehran, Iran – Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, was received by Dr Ibrahim Raisi, President of Iran, in Tehran on Saturday.

During the meeting, Sayyid Badr conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and his good wishes to the President and the people of Iran for continued progress and prosperity, and for the relations between the two friendly countries to develop further.

On his part, Raisi conveyed his greetings and appreciation for His Majesty the Sultan, and his good wishes to His Majesty and the Omani people. He wished the relations between the two countries further progress and development. Raisi also congratulated Oman on the occasion of the 52nd National Day.

They reviewed bilateral relations and emphasised the keenness of both sides to strengthen and develop these in various fields in a way that brings mutual benefits.

Earlier in the day, Sayyid Badr held a meeting with his counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran. Their meeting dealt with issues related to bilateral cooperation and ways to develop these.
