Muscat – Preparations for the celebration of the 52nd National Day are complete with the highlight this year being high-tech laser shows in the governorates of Muscat, Dhofar and Musandam.

Sheikh Sebaa Hamdan al Saadi, Secretary-General of the Secretariat General of National Celebrations, informed that His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will preside over a military parade in Al Nasr Square in Dhofar on November 18.

Elaborating on the preparations, Sheikh Saadi said that flags have been raised and installation of decorations completed in one wilayat of each governorate to celebrate the occasion.

“Special ceremonies will be held in all governorates with the participation of citizens. The highlights of this year’s National Day celebrations are drone shows, laser shows and accompanying events that will be held in Muscat on November 18 and 19 in two different ares, in Dhofar on November 18 and in Musandam on November 23,” Sheikh Saadi informed.

Additionally, within the framework of celebrating the 52nd National Day, developmental projects in different sectors will be announced or launched.
