Muscat – The winter cruise tourist season began in Oman with the arrival of Mein Schiff 6 at Port Sultan Qaboos, in Muscat on Friday.

Carrying more than 2,100 tourists, the ship is on a 17-day cruise from Antalya in Turkey to Doha in Qatar, with stops in Dubai on Saturday and arrival in Dohar on November 1.

In 2019, the Port Sultan Qaboos received 163 cruise ships carrying 660,295 tourists and 66 cruise ships carrying 263,587 tourists in 2020.
