Muscat – In recognition of the key role of women in the renewed renaissance of Oman, led by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Council of Ministers on Sunday congratulated all Omani women on the occasion of Omani Women’s Day, which is observed on October 17.

A statement issued by the council stressed that Oman’s celebration of this occasion comes as an expression of the interest and care that Omani women have enjoyed since the dawn of the Blessed Renaissance, which enabled them to contribute side by side with men to the country’s comprehensive development process.

The cabinet also stressed that the continuous and continuous support provided by the state to women over the past decades had a great impact in providing more opportunities and harnessing all possibilities for them.

‘As Omani women have proven their worth in accomplishing the tasks entrusted to them, which qualified them to obtain awards for excellence in many areas locally, regionally, and internationally, the nation wishes Omani woman continued success to continue their appreciated efforts in the path of goodness and progress for this dear country,’ it said.

The Council of Ministers expressed its great appreciation to all mothers for their important role in taking care of the family and caring for its members, and raising their efficiency in order to actively participate in the national task of nation building.
