Muscat – Nine people have been arrested on charges of stealing cash from vehicles in Buraimi Governorate.

A statement issued by Royal Oman Police (ROP) said, ‘Buraimi Governorate Police Command, with the support of the Special Tasks Police Unit in the wilayat of Mahdah, arrested nine people for stealing from vehicles.’

It added that legal procedures have been taken against them. ‘ROP urges motorists not to leave cash and valuables inside their vehicles,’ ROP statement said.
