Muscat – Dr Hussein Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar, will pay an official visit to Oman starting Tuesday.

A statement issued by the Diwan of Royal Court, said, ‘To consolidate the long-standing relations and historical and cultural ties between the Sultanate of Oman and Zanzibar, Dr Hussain Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar will pay a multi-day visit to Oman starting on October 11, 2022. The visit aims to enhance the existing cooperation in several fields and push these towards broader and more comprehensive horizons in the service of common interests and in order to achieve more growth, development and prosperity.

‘During the visit, aspects of existing cooperation between the two countries and ways to strengthen these will be discussed to achieve the desired goals and aspirations of the two peoples.’
