Muscat – The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has appealed to community members of blood type B negative to donate urgently at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher.

DBBS said in a statement, ‘Due to low level of stock of blood group B Negative, we appeal to the holders of this type to rush to donate blood at the Blood Bank in Bausher.’

The department also called for donation of other types of blood groups due to shortage of donors. The blood donation time at the Central Blood Bank is from 8am to 8pm. The blood bank can be reached at 94555648.
