Muscat – The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said on Sunday that firefighters managed to extinguish a fire that broke out in a student hostel in Al Aqar area of the wilayat of Shinas.

According to CDAA, no injuries were recorded. ‘The authority calls on institutions and companies to adhere to safety requirements in students’ hostels to avoid risks,’ CDAA said in statement.
