Muscat – An injured vulture was rescued by a citizen in South Batinah, according to the Environment Authority (EA).

In a statement, EA said, ‘The Environment Department in South Batinah Governorate received an injured vulture from a citizen in the wilayat of Rustaq. He handed it over to the specialists in the department to provide the necessary care.’

EA added that it appreciates the community’s keenness and interest in preserving the environment and protecting wildlife.
