Muscat – Sama Ras Al Jinz Ecolodge which is tucked away in the South Sharqiyyah Governorate of Oman is located at the easternmost point of the Arabian Peninsula. The property has 20 rooms that consist of Standard Room which have an open to sky bath and gorgeous and extremely spacious Deluxe Rooms. All of them have access to the open-air Cinema, inspired by Bedouin settlement – cinema seating is comfy Bedouin style lounge, once the sun sets down and we have soft lighting turned on, the screen is placed under moonlight and you have the stunning mountains as the back drop. Movie Screening’s comes with extra treats which consist of popcorn, crisp, candies, refreshments, etc.

We are just about 4 kilometers to the turtle sanctuary where you can witness the nesting grounds of turtles and them laying eggs. You can also see the hatchlings trying to get back to the sea. Since we are located in the low light zone SAMA Ras Al Jinz Ecolodge is a haven for star gazer and offers beautiful dark skies, the temperature during summer is breezy and few degrees lower than the city of Muscat.

The property is spacious and spread out, every room has its private sit out area, are air conditioned and have attached bath. There is a common lounge area which serves traditional Arabic coffee with locally sourced dates. The restaurant is designed with a Bedouin theme with locally sourced handicrafts. The restaurant at our Ecolodge offers lunch, dinner and a ala- Carte menu.
