Muscat – Salalah Mills Company announces the arrival of a ship carrying 61,780 tonnes of Australian wheat.
According to Salalah Mills Company, the arrival of a ship carrying 61,780 tonnes of Australian wheat which will contribute to enhancing wheat stocks in Oman and will meet the needs of the local market for more than six months.
Ahmed bin Alawi al Dhahab, CEO of Salalah Mills Company, said that with the arrival of this quantity, the company’s wheat stock will reach more than 200,000 tons, which will meet the needs of the local market for more than 6 months and cover the company’s share of the local market for a whole year.
He pointed out that the company had received 66,000 tons of Australian wheat in July as part of the company’s plan to provide sufficient stocks of wheat.
