Muscat – Oman Customs has arrested an expat for possessing marijuana and seized large quantities of psychotropic tablets from his possession at Muscat International Airport.

In a statement, Oman Customs said, ‘Muscat International Airport Customs seized large quantities of psychotropic tablets, most notably tramadol (an opioid used as pain medication) and diazepam (anxiety relieving medication), besides a quantity of marijuana, from a passenger.’

The drugs were seized following inspection of the passengers luggage, it added.
