Muscat –The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested a foreigner for possessing large amounts of alcoholic beverages.

In a statement, ROP said, ‘Dakhliyah Governorate Police Command arrested a person of Asian nationality for possession of large quantities of alcoholic beverages with the intention of selling it.’

Legal procedures are being completed against him, it added.
