Muscat – Oman, represented by Oman Sail, has been named host of Arab Sailing Championship 2022, which is due to take place from October 11-15, 2022, at Barceló Mussanah Resort.

Returning to the sultan-ate after being held in Egypt in 2019, sailors from 14 countries across the re-gion will compete over five days. Sailors from Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sud-an, Tunisia and the UAE are expected to compete.

The championship will include races in Optimist, ILCA 4, ILCA 6, ILCA 7, RS:X and iQFOiL windsur-fing and RS Venture para sailing.
