Muscat – The Wilayat of Shinas, in North Batinah Governorate, experienced heavy rains of varying intensity in its villages.

The rains in the northern villages of the wilayat led to the overflow of wadis of Blida, Wadiyat and Hamiliyah, as well as the formation of waterfalls in the village of Al Aqar as a result of the heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the Wilayat of Khasab received the highest amount of rainfall between July 25 and July 27 – 128mm.

According to a chart shared by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Khasab in Musandam Governorate recorded 128mm rainfall in the last three days while the Wilayat of Liwa in North Batinah Governorate received 76mm, Barka received 65mm, and Jabal Akhdar in Al Dakhliyah Governorate received 59mm rainfall.
