Muscat – The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) in Dakhliyah governorate seized more than 280 goods that violate public morality on Wednesday.
In a statement, CPA said, “The Consumer Protection Department in Dakhliyah Governorate inspected some shops in the governorate that were selling 285 different varieties of goods which displayed pictures and forms that violate public morality.’
It added that the products included notebooks, toys, bags and kites. ‘These have been seized and the applicable legal measures, based on Article 26 of the Executive Regulations of Consumer Protection Law No 66/2014, were taken,’ CPA said in the statement.
