Two citizens arrested for deliberately crossing wadi in North Batinah


Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested two citizens for crossing Wadi Ahin in the Wilayat of Sohar, North Batinah Governorate.

In a statement, ROP said, ‘The North Batinah Governorate Police Command arrested two citizens for not complying with the instructions to stay away from the streams during the flow of Wadi Ahin in Sohar.’

ROP referred them to the judicial authorities to take legal action against them.

Accoridng to Public Prosecution, a three-month imprisonment and a fine of RO500 will be imposed to those who deliberately cross wadis in Oman.
