Muscat – The national athletics team will take part in the long jump competition at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon, USA, from July 15 to 25.

A statement issued by ONA said, ‘The national athletics team member Salim al Yarubi will participate in the long jump competition at the World Athletics Championships.’

The team’s delegation consists of the head of the delegation, Mohammed al Balushi, coach, Imad Serraj, and Yarubi.

Yarubi holds Oman’s record in the long jump, boasting a distance of 7.80m.
The World Athletics Championships will see participation of more than 1,900 athletes from 192 countries.
