Muscat – A fisherman was arrested for possessing unlicensed fishing guns in the wilayat of Suwaiq, North Batinah, on Sunday.

The Directorate General of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in North Batinah Governorate said in a statement that its fisheries control team arrest a fisherman who violated the fishing law.

‘The fisherman was in possession of unlicensed fishing guns. Legal measures have been taken against him,’ the statement added.
