Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested ten expats for kidnapping a person in Musandam Governorate.

A statement issued by ROP said, ‘The General Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations, in cooperation with the Police Command of Musandam Governorate and the Communication Department of the Arab and International Police (Interpol), arrested ten Asians on charges of kidnapping a person of the same nationality.’

The kidnappers were demanding a ransom for the release of the expat. Legal procedures have been taken against them, ROP stated.
