Muscat – The Ministry of Education (MoE) has completed procedures for appointment of 354 teachers in Dakhliyah governorate for the 2022/23 academic year in various disciplines.

Salam bin Salem al Toobi, director, Department of Administrative Affairs, Dakhliyah, said the appointments committee received the appointees at a number of halls in the wilayat of Nizwa.

The committee met the teachers in groups based on the subjects they would teach to complete the administrative process and conducted interviews over a period of five days.

The Ministry of Labour (MoL) announced that it has raised the number of beneficiaries of the teachers’ preparation and qualification programme recently from 1,500 to 1,982, increasing the number of candidates by 482.

MoL is aiming to provide 35,000 job opportunities through recruitment, replacement and training for citizens in 2022.
