Muscat – The Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) launched a mobile app ‘Nidaa’ which allows citizens and residents to call for ambulance service in a single click.

While placing an emergency request on the app, the ambulance would arrive using the SOS system and communicate with the CDAA’s Operations Centre in emergency cases.

The app has also a unique feature that allows people with speaking or hearing disabilities to reach out for ambulance services.

Through the app, it is possible to report emergency situations, such as accidents, injuries, loss, collapses, fires, drowning and other emergency cases.
