Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested three expats on Monday for smuggling large quantities of drugs into Oman.

A statement issued by ROP said, ‘The General Administration of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control arrested three people on charges of possession, trafficking and use of narcotic drugs.’

It seized more than 35 kg of crystal, morphine and hashish, and 3900 tablets of psychotropic substances. ‘Legal procedures have been taken against them,’ it stated.
