Muscat – Four people were arrested for smuggling khat in Dhofar on Thursday, according to Royal Oman Police (ROP)
In a statement, ROP said, ‘ROP’s Coast Guard arrested four smugglers in Dhofar governorate with bundles of khat. The accused were attempting to smuggle 1995 bundles of khat into the country.
ROP has taken legal action and referred them to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.
