Muscat – Four infiltrators were arrested for smuggling khat in Dhofar on Wednesday.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) Coast Guard arrested four infiltrators in Dhofar governorate with bundles of khat. ‘The accused were attempting to smuggle 2,000 bundles of khat,’ an ROP statement said.

The ROP has taken legal action and referred them to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.
