Muscat – According to Royal orders, the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Royal Cavalry, will take part in the Royal Windsor Horse Show on the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
A statement issued by ONA, said, ‘The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Royal Court Affairs (RCA), will participate in the Royal Windsor Horse Show, which will be held in the United Kingdom on the occasion of the celebration of the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and President of the Commonwealth. This participation comes at a royal invitation among a number of those invited to participate from different countries of the world.
In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service.
The show will be held on the grounds of the British Royal Windsor Castle, during the period from May 12 to 15. More than 1,000 participants (knights, musicians, writers and actors) will participate with 500 horses, who will perform shows in equestrian sports, military shows and music.
