Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued two Royal Decrees on Monday reading as follows:

Royal Decree No 21/2022 on the ratification of an agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on mutual waiver of visas for holders of diplomatic, special, service and official passports, signed in Dhaka on March 24, 2022.

• Article (1) ratifies the aforesaid agreement as per the version attached to this decree.
• Article (2) states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its data of issue.

Royal Decree No 22/2022 endorses the Sultanate of Oman joining the Amendment to the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material.

• Article (1) endorses the Sultanate of Oman joining the Amendment to the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material as per the version attached to this decree.
• Article (2) states that the competent departments will deposit the endorsement document as per the aforesaid convention’s provisions.
• Article (3) states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its data of issue.
