Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested three expatriates on Sunday for smuggling large quantities of drugs into Oman.

A statement issued by the ROP, said, ‘South Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command has arrested three people of Asian nationality after they tried to smuggling 85 kilogrammes of crystal meth.’ It added that legal procedures have been taken against them.

Meanwhile ROP arrested a person for stealing from 6 shops in several wilayats in Dhofar. ‘Dhofar Governorate Police Command arrested a man from Arab nationality on charges of theft from 6 shops in several wilayats in Dhofar Governorate,’ ROP stated. It added that tools and other stolen items were also found with him.
