Muscat – As part of the ongoing efforts initiated by Muscat Municipality to develop road infrastructure and service projects, the Directorate General of Projects is constructing internal roads in the Bausher commercial area and upgrading the road infrastructure to meet the needs of the growing population and urban expansion.

The projects include construction of 12km of internal roads, parking lots and side protection of some roads where needed, while transferring current service lanes which are overlapping with the road tracks.

The projects will significantly help reduce traffic congestion in the area and offer more safety to the users.

The projects are set for completion early next year, Muscat Municipality has stated.
