Muscat – The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Wednesday announced 35 new COVID-19 infections registered within the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases registered in Oman to 388,571. There was one death reported during the same time.

‘The total number of COVID-19 related deaths reported in the country stands at 4,253,’ an MoH statement said. The ministry added that the total number of recoveries is 383,416 after 52 recoveries were reported on Wednesday. The recovery rate is now 98.7 per cent.

‘There were 8 new hospitalisations in the past 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 patients currently in health institutions is now 51, including 10 in Intensive Care Units,’ it stated.
