Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced that the official working hours during the holy month of Ramadan in its various formations will be from 8.30 am until 1.30 pm.

In a statement, ROP said “the official working hours during the holy month of Ramadan in the various formations of the Royal Oman Police will be from 8.30am until 1.30 pm from Sunday to Thursday.”

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Labour (MoL) stated that that official working hours at units of the State’s Administrative Apparatus and other legal entities during the Holy Month of Ramadan for 1443 AH will be from 9 am to 2 pm.

Working hours at the private sector companies and establishments for Muslims during the Holy Month of Ramadan will be reduced to six hours per day, equivalent to 30 hours per week.
