Muscat – The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Tuesday announced 103 new COVID-19 infections registered within the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases registered in Oman to 387,730. There were no new deaths reported during the same time.

‘The total number of COVID-19 related deaths reported in the country stands at 4,250,’ an MoH statement said. The ministry added that the total number of recoveries is 381,675 after 157 recoveries were reported on Tuesday. The recovery rate is now 98.4 per cent.

‘There were 14 new hospitalisations in the past 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 patients currently in health institutions is now 93, including 20 in Intensive Care Units,’ it stated.
