Muscat – The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Monday announced 122 new COVID-19 infections registered within the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases registered in Oman to 387,627. There were no new deaths reported during the same time.

‘The total number of COVID-19 related deaths reported in the country stands at 4,250,’ an MoH statement said. The ministry added that the total number of recoveries is 381,458 after 180 recoveries were reported on Monday. The recovery rate is now 98.4 per cent.

‘There were 16 new hospitalisations in the past 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 patients currently in health institutions is now 110, including 23 in Intensive Care Units,’ it stated.
