MoH reports 944 new cases, 1 death in three days

Muscat – The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Sunday announced 944 new COVID-19 infections registered within the past three days, taking the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Oman to 384,818. One new death was also reported during the same time.

‘The total number of COVID-19 related deaths reported in the country now stands at 4,249,’ an MoH statement said. The ministry added that the total number of recoveries is 374,799 after 2,925 recoveries were reported on Sunday. The recovery rate is now 97.4 per cent.

‘There were 36 new hospitalisations in the past 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 patients currently in health institutions is now 202, including 43 in Intensive Care Units,’ it stated.
