Muscat – Adm Sir Benjamin Key, Chief of Naval Staff of the United Kingdom, arrived on a two-day visit to Oman on Sunday morning.
He was later received by H E Gen Sultan Mohammed al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, at his office. The British guest expressed his appreciation for Oman’s efforts in promoting cooperation to achieve the joint interests between the two countries.
The two sides reviewed the march of historic relations between Oman and the UK. They also discussed several matters of common interest.
Adm Key also visited Rear Adm Saif Nasser al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman, in his office at Al Murtafa’a Garrison.
The two sides discussed several issues related to military cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views of common interest.
