Muscat – The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Sunday announced 1,763 new COVID-19 infections registered within the past three days, taking the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Oman to 381,381. Four new deaths were also reported during the same time.

‘The total number of COVID-19 related deaths reported in the country now stands at 4,242,’ an MoH statement said. The ministry added that the total number of recoveries is 367,204 after 4,404 recoveries were reported on Sunday. The recovery rate is 96.3 per cent.

‘There were 39 new hospitalisations in the past 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 patients currently in health institutions is now 248, including 57 in Intensive Care Units,’ it stated.
