Muscat – The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has launched a promotional campaign in France to showcase the beauty of Oman. According to the ministry, the mobile campaign highlights Oman aboard public transport buses in the most popular tourist sites, including the Avenue des Champs-Elysees, Eiffel Tower and Place de la Concorde.
‘This campaign helps in promoting Oman as a distinct tourism destination that attracts European tourists, encouraging French tourists in particular, to discover Oman,’ the ministry stated.
Rania Khader, head of the Tourism Representation Office of Oman in France, informed that since the reopening of the sultanate to tourists on September 1, 2021, more than 12,000 French nationals visited Oman between September and December 2021.
