Muscat – The dust storms witnessed by the sultanate over the past three days will continue for two more days, according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
In a statement, CAA said, ‘Dust storms will spread unevenly over most of the governorates on Sunday and during the next two days. Dusty weather will prevail over most of the governorates, with moderate to active winds causing rising dust and drop in temperatures.’
CAA also cautioned, that the dust storms, especially in open areas and the desert, will lead to low and poor visibility.
Meanwhile, Muqshin station, in Dhofar governorate, recorded the lowest temperature in Oman on Saturday – 4.4°C, followed by Yanqul, in Dhahirah, with 7.2°C, and Mazyounah recording 7.3°C.
