Muscat – Oman meteorology department said that Oman will witness a noticeable decrease in temperatures and dust storms with low visibility over open areas and deserts during the next two days due to the northwesterly winds.
In a statement, meteorology office said, “starting this evening, active northwesterly winds will blow over most of the governorates of Oman and will become more active during the next two days.”
It added that sea waves are set to rise 2-4 metres. “There will be a noticeable drop in temperatures and dust storms resulting in low horizontal visibility,” Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
