Muscat – The Ministry of Health (MoH) has reduced the interval for the booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine from six months to three from the date of the second dose starting Tuesday.
The sultanate is currently witnessing an increase in daily infection count with 31 new cases reported in a 24-hour period on Monday. No new deaths have been reported.
Meanwhile, according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), travellers transitting through airports of the sultanate must take a PCR test 48 hours before their flight take off for Oman and obtain a passenger registration card by registering at emushrif.om
A statement issued by CAA urged travellers to carry a PCR document, vaccine certificate and emushrif.om registration form.
