Muscat – Indian School Muscat (ISM) has decided to start classes in a hybrid mode (online and physical) for Kindergarten (KG) to Grade 8 from the third and fourth week of November.

A circular issued by ISM stated that the classes will be held in a hybrid mode until further intimation or guidelines from the Ministry of Education.

The school will start physical classes twice in a week in a phased manner for all the classes from Class 1 to 8.

‘The online classes will continue for the rest of the week (three days) for all students. The detailed schedule will be intimated to the respective classes soon,’ the circular said.

The physical classes for the KG section will begin by the third week of November.

‘The classes will be conducted in a hybrid mode for the KG section with either online or physical classes. Parents will have the option of choosing either physical or online classes as per their convenience for KG1 and KG 2 students,’ the circular stated.

However, for the other classes, ISM said all students will be expected to attend classes – physical and online – as per the directives.
