Muscat – With an aim to develop and deliver state-of-the-art solutions to support Oman’s progress in technology and security measures, IDEMIA and Seeracom signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Diplomatic Club.
Seeracom, a subsidiary of Ramesh Khimji Group of Companies, is an Omani system integration company that has developed and deployed complex critical communication and drone detection systems notably for airports in the country. IDEMIA is the global leader in Augmented Identity that provides a trusted environment enabling citizens and consumers alike to perform their daily critical activities (such as pay, connect and travel), in the physical as well as digital space.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Khalid bin Hashil al Muslahi, head of the Minister’s Office Department, Foreign Ministry, and Véronique Aulagnon, Ambassador of France to Oman. Also present were Aaditya R Khimji, managing director of Seeracom, and Hadi Hussant, general manager, sales VP, IDEMIA Oman.
Khimji said, “We started in 2014 and have implemented the best of expertise and skills. Seeracom has partnered with various multinational OEMs and vendors primarily focused on providing in-country skill sets for integration and support of end-user systems that is in line with the sultanate’s progress towards the ambitious Oman Vision 2040 under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.”
Both companies will capitalise on their respective expertise, leveraging their knowledge and technology to deliver state-of-the-art solutions aimed at supporting Oman’s progress to the achievement of this goal, Khimji added.
