Muscat – Within the context of the Royal Directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to provide employment for Omani jobseekers, the Ministry of Labour conducted tests for 168 job vacancies in the state’s administrative apparatus departments on Thursday.

The tests, conducted at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Nizwa, were held applying the central employment system of the Labour Ministry.

Salim Khalfan al Wahaibi, head of Tests and Interviews Management Team at the Ministry of Labour, said that the tests were conducted as planned.

He added that the tests were run in a smooth and transparent manner.

“Once a candidate meets with general conditions to fill the job vacancy, he/she proceeds to the digitised test hall amid precautionary measures set by the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling developments resulting from coronavirus.”

Wahaibi added that the results would be announced as soon as the tests are over.

Accordingly, the top performers would be announced and given the jobs.
