United Finance Company on Wednesday announced the appointment of Nasser Salim Said al Rashdi as the new chief executive officer of the company.
‘This is to inform that the board of directors has received approval from the regulators to appoint Rashdi as the chief executive officer of United Finance, with effect from September 5, 2021,’ United Finance said in a disclosure to the Muscat Stock Exchange.
The company said that Rashdi brings with him a wealth of experience in the banking sector in Oman having worked for over 30 years in the field of business development, risk management and internal audit within banks.
‘The board of directors and management of United Finance wish Rashdi all the success during his tenure as the chief executive officer,’ United Finance added.
United Finance’s previous chief executive officer, Mansoor Mubarak Abdullah al Amir, retired in November 2019 and BikramRishiwas then appointed as acting CEO.
