Oman Fisheries Company announced that its chief executive officer Dr. Khalid Mansour bin Sabeel al Zadjali has resigned from his position due to personal reasons.
‘Oman Fisheries advises the Capital Market Authority, the Muscat Stock Exchange and the investors community that Dr. Zadjali has resigned due to personal reasons from the position of chief executive officer of the company with effect from July 25, 2021,’ the company said in a disclosure to the Muscat Stock Exchange.
The board of directors of Oman Fisheries has approved and accepted the CEO’s resignation accordingly with effect from July 25, 2021, the disclosure added.
Dr. Zadjali was appointed as the CEO of Oman Fisheries in January 2017. Prior to joining Oman Fisheries he was director general of fishing ports and director general for planning and development at the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
