Sayyid Shihab bids farewell to Dutch, Egyptian envoys

On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, received the ambassadors of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Netherlands separately in his office at Al Murtafaa Camp, on Sunday, to bid them farewell at the end of their tour of duties in the sultanate.

Mohammed Ahmed Fahmi Ghoneim, Ambassador of Egypt, and Laetitia van Asch, Ambassador of the Netherlands, expressed their gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan for the support extended to them during their tenure in the sultanate from His Majesty, the government and the Omani people, which enabled them to carry out their duties. 

They wished His Majesty the Sultan good health, happiness and a long life, and the sultanate further progress and growth under the wise leadership of His Majesty.

On his turn, Sayyid Shihab thanked the ambassadors for the efforts they exerted in serving the relations between the sultanate and their countries, wishing them success, and the people of their countries further progress and prosperity.
