26 Jun 2021

The Ministry of Health will start a home vaccination service for people with special needs in Muscat starting Sunday.

Dr Thamra bint Said al Ghafriyah, acting director general of health services in Muscat governorate, stated the same on Thursday.

Additionally, the drive-through vaccination service at Oman Automobile Association Seeb that was suspended due to the night lockdown will resume from Sunday. The new timings are from 3pm to 7pm.

“For others in the Governorate of Muscat, Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) has been set up for COVID-19 vaccination. The smooth conduct of this vaccination centre is remarkable,” she said.

According to Dr Thamra, the waiting period at OCEC is less than 30 minutes, despite its huge capacity.
