The Ministry of Health (MoH), represented by the Directorate General of Human Development (DGHD), on Monday signed an agreement with the University of Nizwa to train the students of Pharmacy & Nursing College at the university.
The agreement was signed by Dr Ahmed al Abri, DGHD director general, on behalf of the ministry, and Dr Salim bin Said al Tobi, dean of Pharmacy & Nursing College on behalf of the university.
The agreement stipulates using the health facilities of the Ministry of Health to train the students of Pharmacy & Nursing College of the University of Nizwa.
As part of the facilitations provided by the MoH for the private higher education institutions, the agreement aims to equip students with the scientific and applied knowledge in their specialisations.
