According to MoH statistics, as many as 214,192 people in Oman have received the first dose of either the Pfizer-bioNTech or Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine between December 27 and May 15. These include 35,184 healthcare workers (91 per cent of this category) and 78,098 individuals in the 60 years and older age group (72 per cent of this category). The remaining 100,910 vaccinated persons belong to other different categories.
