Institutional quarantine will be applicable on all non-Omani arrivals into the sultanate, including families with children under the age of 18, effective from 6pm on Tuesday. 

In a circular issued to all travellers and airlines operating in the sultanate, the Civil Aviation Authority stated that based on the decision made by the Supreme Committee for dealing with COVID-19 issued on May 4, the institutional quarantine would apply to all non-Omani arrivals into the sultanate, including families with children under the age of 18, effective from 6pm (local time) on Tuesday. 

The circular further said that the home quarantine for Omani citizens and the other categories excluded under previous circulars would continue to be in place, taking into consideration that the excluded categories would be subject to the approved procedures upon arriving in the sultanate.
